What is a Makeup Trial

A makeup trial is the perfect opportunity for brides and those attending a special event to ensure their desired look is flawlessly achieved. During the session we'll discuss your vision and preferred styles and any inspiration you have, while taking into account your skin type, features and personal preferences. I will carefully tailor your makeup to enhance your natural beauty and complement your outfit ensuring long-lasting, photo-ready results. To make the most of your trial, please bring along images of your desired looks -these help me understand your preferences and customize your makeup accordingly. This trial allows us to make any adjustments, so you feel confident and radiant on your big day, whether it's a bridal look or a glamorous event, we'll create a look that makes you feel your absolute best!

What is in Studio Makeup

Studio makeup is a full makeup application done in the comfort of my professional makeup studio .
This 45-60minute appointment includes a complete, personalized look -plus complimentary lashes to finish it off beautifully.

Whether you're heading to an event, special occasion, or just to feel your best, this is the perfect way to pampered and polished

Question 4

Deposit Wedding Makeup

Accepted Answer

For weddings, a 30% day deposit is required to confirm your date. After the trial, I will temporarily hold your wedding date for two weeks to give you time to decide. 
Please note your date isn't secured until a deposit is paid.

Deposit Studio Makeup

Accepted Answer

To secure your booking, a 20% deposit is required for single makeup appointments which is refundable if canceled at least 48 hours in advance.

Travel and early start fee

Accepted Answer

Travel fees apply based on distance and time required to reach your location. Local bookings within a set radius may be included, while longer distances will incur an additional charge. Travel time is also considered for early mornings or extended travel requirements. Please inquire for a personalized quote based on your location and event details.

Early start Fee
If a start time before 8:00am is required, an early start fee will apply. This reflects time worked outside of standard hours and the time it takes away from my morning with Family. I appreciate your understanding and recognition that early starts require extra time and preparation on my end.

For example

A 8:00am start time within Mudgee no extra fee.

A 8:00am start time outside of Mudgee would only incur a travel fee no an early start fee.

A 7:00am start time within Mudgee would incur a $20 early start fee

A 7:00am start time outside of Mudgee a travel fee and  a $20 early start fee

What Products do you use

I use makeup products that I know perform well. Products that provide long-lasting results and are gentle on the skin. I prioritize formulas with minimal fragrance to reduce the risk of irritation, making them suitable for sensitive skin types. The product I rely on have been tested for their quality, bendability, and skin -friendly ingredients, ensuring they work seamlessly for a variety of clients. I stock multiple types and shades of foundation from lightweight to fuller coverage, allowing me to custom-match the perfect foundation shade and style for you. 
The make up industry is always changing, new and improved products are being created everyday. 
I use a range of different brand, the following are the brands I stock and use the most, but are not limited to.
 Bioderma, Embryolisse ,Hourglass, Charlotte Tilbury, Face Atelier, Natasha Denona, Makeup by Mario, Stila, Huda Beauty ,Make Up For Ever, M.A.C, Ben Nye, Kyrolan, Urban Decay, Makeup Geek, Wolfe, Tag Cameleon, Red Cherry and Ardell. ​

Ready to Book Your Date? (No Trial Yet)

You can secure your date early (6–12 months ahead) with a deposit. This locks you into my calendar.

Then, we’ll book your makeup trial  closer to the event — usually around 4–6 weeks before the big day.
This is ideal once you’ve  confirmed your dress, hairstyle, bridesmaids’ looks, and overall vibe.

Perfect for brides who know they want to work with me and don’t want to risk missing out.  Please look through my website and ensure you are happy with my style. I am a natural to soft glam makeup artist.

Question 9

Not Planning to Have a Trial? That’s Okay Too!

I understand that not everyone chooses to have a trial — maybe you’re not local, don’t wear much makeup, or you’re working with a tighter budget. You’re still absolutely welcome here.
If you decide to book without a trial, here’s what you can expect:
I’ll create a soft glam, bridal look tailored to your features, dress, and style preferences
This is a timeless, radiant makeup style that photographs beautifully and suits a wide range of bridal looks
I’ll ask for reference photos, a quick questionnaire, and a few clear photos of you so I can prepare in advance
I will always highly recommend a trial, it is really there to eliminate unnecessary  stress.
On the day, I’ll bring my expertise — and a deep love for makeup (enough for the both of us!) — but please keep in mind:

Significant changes can’t be made on the day due to time constraints
I’ll guide you with honest, professional suggestions to ensure you still feel like you, just enhanced

My Ideal Booking Plan (Perfect for Long-Term Planners)

If you’re booking well in advance — around 6 to 12 months out — this is the most personal and seamless experience I offer:

Session 1 – Let’s Get to Know Each Other
In-studio makeup appointment ($110)
Great for an engagement party, photoshoot, or just a special day out
I get to see your features, style, and preferences in real time
I’ll offer skincare advice, tips to prep your skin, and things to keep in mind for the big day

Official Booking

If you’re happy after the first session, you can book your event date and pay your deposit
This locks you into my calendar and gives us time to plan everything in detail

Session 3 –The Bridal Trial (4–6 Weeks Before) ($110)

Now that you have your dress, accessories, and wedding vision sorted, we’ll design the perfect look
We’ll go over everything — skin tone, bridesmaids’ looks, timeline, and touch-up options

Session 4 – The Big Day ($110 Bridal then $110 per makeup for bridal party members)
You’re relaxed, we’re both completely prepared, and you already know exactly what to expect
My goal is to make your wedding morning feel calm, smooth, and beautiful

Bridal and Group Bookings

A minimum of 3 clients is needed for a bridal party or group booking (bride + two others) is required to secure a booking. This ensures your date and best time slot are reserved exclusively for you, which may mean I'm unable to take on additional clients that day.

I can accommodate up to 5-6 people per booking. If your Bridal or Group booking is larger, a second makeup artist may be required, I recommend sourcing this yourself, as each makeup artist has their own style, pricing and policies. This gives you the freedom to choose someone who best fits your budget and vision.
